Ruth Atkins qualified as a Registered General Nurse at Leeds General Infirmary in 1984, she worked as a staff nurse on an acute surgical ward specialising in vascular surgery and ENT. Ruth then went to work at the Queen Victoria Burns unit in East Grinstead specialising in burns and plastic surgery. Successfully combining this with a career in aviation and has been an aviation medicine instructor for over 20 years.
In 2008 Ruth went on to pursue a career in aesthetics, developing a passion and enthusiasm which led her to become an advanced Aesthetic Trainer for over 10 years with the UK’s largest aesthetic training provider, winning numerous aesthetic awards. Ruth has worked for The Private Clinic in Harley Street, London, Northampton and Buckinghamshire delivering advanced aesthetic treatments for over 10 years.
Ruth is fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is an Independent Nurse Prescriber having successfully completed her prescribing course at Birmingham University. Ruth is an active member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN)and regularly attends Aesthetic training courses and conferences.
It was in 2014 that Ruth founded her clinic providing a bespoke service using the utmost discretion and attention to detail;
